Deborah Kirk-Greenwald began her career in 1964 at the age of 9 when she and her Cardigan Welsh Corgi won their first 4-H obedience class division.  "Corky Mouse" and Deborah would continue their obedience competition at AKC shows where they successfully competed and became the number one Obedience Cardigan Welsh Corgi in the country for 3 years 1966, 1967, 1968.

At age 12 she trained her first High In Trial Champion English Springer Spaniel,
CH Beryltown Lively Chatter CDX  AKA "Amy", who also became the number 2 obedience Springer in the country.  Deborah and Amy were also successful in the confirmation show ring where they qualified for the Westminster Kennel Club Junior Showmanship Finals for six straight years; ages 10-16.

 

 
 

 
   
Then following a 9 year apprenticeship with famed dog show handler Robert A. Fisher PHA, she established her own career as a Top Winning Dog Show Handler and World Renowned Breeder of kayndee English Springer Spaniels.  Over the next 4 decades she produced over 150 Champions, 7 Top #10 English Springer Spaniels, 5 Best in Show Dogs, and 3 Westminster Kennel Club Winners.

Shortly after winning Best of Breed at the Westminster Kennel Club in 1985 and 1986 Deborah Kirk was featured in Kal Kan / Pedigree Top Breeder television commercial along with her legendary Best in Show Dogs ; CH KayNDee King of the Road CDX, WD and CH KayNDee Tintinnabulation CD, WDX, JH. 

With her show career well under way she then established her own home based business of Best In Show Pet Grooming in 1994, providing professional dog and cat services for her local patrons in her home town of York, Pennsylvania.  In March of 1997 she dazzled the Pet Grooming Industry at the Pennsylvania State Grooming Contest with a Best In Show Winning Grooming performance on her Best In Show Champion KayNDee Inherit the Wind WD, WDX, JH, SH.  Then again two years later she swept the Grooming Competition and won Best Technical Award in the Expert Division in the 2000 Groom Olympics.
